1. About Our Products
Shadow Velora is a fashion brand specialising exclusively in dresses, including everyday dresses, evening wear, and occasion dresses.
We make every effort to accurately display product images, colours, and descriptions. However, slight colour variations may occur due to differences in screen calibration, monitor settings, or lighting conditions in photography. Such variations do not constitute a defect and do not give rise to a right of return or refund.
Product availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without notice.
2. Eligibility to Purchase
By placing an order on this website, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years of age, or have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- you are not purchasing products for resale without our prior written consent
- the personal and payment information you provide is accurate and complete
3. Order Acceptance
All orders placed through our website constitute an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance by Shadow Velora. A binding contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including in cases of:
- suspected fraudulent activity or payment irregularities
- incorrect, incomplete, or unverifiable billing or shipping information
- previous chargebacks, disputes, or policy abuse by the customer
- stock unavailability or supply chain issues
- pricing errors on the website
If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
4. Pricing & Taxes
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website and are subject to change without prior notice. The price charged will always be the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
Prices displayed on our website may not include applicable customs duties, import taxes, or local VAT, which may be levied by the destination country upon delivery. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Shadow Velora has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
5. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods available at checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards processed securely through Shopify Payments.
By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. Shadow Velora reserves the right to verify payment information and to cancel orders where payment cannot be confirmed.
We do not store or have access to your full card details. All payment data is encrypted and processed by our payment provider.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Shadow Velora ships internationally. Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Worldwide: 8–12 business days (estimated)
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier delays, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Shadow Velora shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from delivery delays.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address. Shadow Velora is not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect address information.
7. Customs, Duties & Import Restrictions
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to customs inspection and import duties upon arrival in the destination country. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
Shadow Velora complies with all applicable export laws and regulations. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the products ordered are permitted for import into their country.
8. Proof of Delivery
Delivery confirmation provided by the shipping carrier constitutes proof that the package has been delivered to the specified address. Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, Shadow Velora considers the order fulfilled.
If you have not received your package despite a delivery confirmation, please contact your local carrier and postal authority first. Shadow Velora is not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered by the carrier.
9. Lost or Stolen Packages
Shadow Velora cannot be held liable for packages that are lost or stolen after a delivery confirmation has been issued by the carrier. In the event of a package lost in transit prior to delivery confirmation, please contact us at contact@shadowvelora.com and we will investigate with the carrier.
10. Returns & Refunds
Returns are not accepted for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or personal preference. Our products are sourced and fulfilled on a per-order basis, and we are unable to accommodate discretionary returns.
Returns are accepted only for items that are defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect. Customers must notify us within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Full details are set out in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers are required to contact Shadow Velora and allow a reasonable resolution period before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute. Failure to do so may be considered a breach of these Terms.
Shadow Velora reserves the right to provide payment providers with all relevant documentation — including order confirmations, delivery records, communications, and policy acceptance evidence — to contest unjustified chargebacks.
Customers who initiate unjustified chargebacks may be permanently banned from placing future orders.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, product descriptions, and design — is the property of Ruby Rise Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No part of this website may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Shadow Velora makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the website or products.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ruby Rise Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website, the purchase of products, or any delay or failure in delivery.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
15. Force Majeure
Shadow Velora shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, carrier disruptions, or customs delays.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. Continued use of our website following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another jurisdiction, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.
